I have a bachelor (2019) in Geology from Unisinos University, and a master’s degree (2021) in Geosciences (emphasis on stratigraphy) from the Institute of Geosciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Currently, I am a PhD student in Geosciences (emphasis on geochemistry of exogenous processes) at the Institute of Geosciences, University of Sāo Paulo (USP). With a broad multidisciplinary background, my main skills cover stratigraphic and cyclostratigraphic analyses as well as inorganic geochemistry analyses on planktic foraminifera for paleoclimatic and paleoceanographic reconstructions. My doctoral research interest focuses on understand the role of the South Atlantic Subtropical Gyre during critical global climate events over the last 800 kyr. For such, I am using a multi-proxy approach comprising planktic foraminifera abundance, carbon and oxygen stable isotopes, Mg/Ca, and clumped isotope analysis.
