In a recently published book, colleagues from the University of São Paulo address the interdisciplinary character of studies related to climate change. In this diversified suite of texts the reader is called to consider the emergent issue of climate change with the viewpoint of its inherent complexity and uncertainty. The current transformations ask for interdisciplinary views to appropriately guide sustainable development actions. Chapter A7 is co-authored by Prof. Dr. Cristiano M. Chiessi and brings an updated overview about the climatic and oceanographic evolution of Brazil and the adjacent ocean during the late Pleistocene and the Holocene. The book can be acquired at the publisher web shop (click here) or on major book shops. Enjoy the reading!
